NBCWP- Outline
A new pilot program is been launched in the Canadian province- of New Brunswick, which aims to attract qualified and skilled individuals, as a way to solve the problem of labor shortages in the country.
On the 7th of November 2022, the Provincial Government of New Brunswick and the Federal Government introduced a program called New Brunswick Critical Worker Pilot Project.
The pilot program will work with six specially-selected employers to help fill the labor gaps in various industries which include manufacturing, food production, fisheries, farming, etc. The pilot program will last for five years before being renewed; meanwhile, it will be checked and evaluated regularly.
