Canada’s latest Express Entry draw results were announced on August 3, 2022. This time, the IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) has issued 2,000 invitations to apply for the Canadian Permanent Residency visas through their Express Entry system. They have invited a large number of potential immigrants for this EE draw as compared to the previous one.
The Express Entry is one of Canada’s most prominent immigration pathways for skilled newcomers. The invitations issued in this recent draw were for the candidates who had minimum CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) scores of 533. This draw’s CRS requirements were lowered by nine points from the previous draw.
The results of the latest Express Entry Draw can be summarized as follows:

All program draws resumed in July, and since then IRCC has held three Express Entry draws, and with each draw, there have been more invitations sent out while the cut-off score decreases.
In order to accommodate the growing number of applicants, the Express Entry pool will be increased in size. This means that candidates who do not have an ITA at this time will still be able to enter and increase their chances of being chosen for permanent residency. Also, the number of invitations needs to be gradually increased with each draw so that it can reach a cut-off point lower than 500 CRS.
Distance Learning is now eligible in the New Express Entry:
This year, Canada hopes to welcome 55,900 immigrants through its Express Entry system. Along with this, the IRCC has recently announced that Distance Learning and Part-Time Education will now be acceptable under this new Express Entry Draw.
This means that candidates are able to include educational achievements they gained through an online program as part of their educational background when submitting an application for Express Entry.
