The different provinces of Canada- Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Prince Edward Island, and Ontario have invited candidates for a provincial nomination in the latest PNP Draw results.
What is Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)?
The Canadian provinces and territories nominate individuals through Canada Provincial Nominee Program who have essential skills, education, and work experience to contribute to the country’s economy and are willing to immigrate to Canada and settle in a particular province.
Getting a PNP nomination makes it less difficult for a candidate to become a permanent resident.
Overview of PNP Draw Results June 2023:-
Results from different draws under the Alberta Advantage Immigration Programs have been released by Alberta.
The draw conducted on June 1, had invited around 117 candidates to apply for Permanent Residency, with a CRS score of 304 or above that targeted profiles with family connections and primary occupations in demand.
Whereas, the draw held on June 8, invited 150 Express Entry profiles, having a CRS score of 382 and above. Profiles in the priority sector- Agriculture occupation and French as a first language were targeted.
In a significant draw, a total of 170 candidates were invited from various streams of the BC PNP, including Skilled Worker, International Graduate, Entry-Level, and Semi-Skilled streams. This draw also considered Express Entry candidates.
The minimum score required in the Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS) ranged from 87 to 107.
In addition, the province welcomed 23 educators and assistants in the field of early childhood education, along with 18 individuals in a special draw aimed at healthcare professions. All candidates in these draws needed to have a minimum SIRS score of 60.
Also, in the latest BCPNP draw of June, 20 around 145 invitations were sent out to apply for a PR visa.
107 invitations have been issued for 35 technology-related occupations through the BC PNP Skills Immigration and Express Entry streams.
In addition, there were 18 invitations specifically for individuals with experience as Early Childhood Educators and assistants (NOC 42202).
Furthermore, a total of 19 invitations were dedicated to profiles in 39 healthcare-related occupations.
A total of 255 candidates with a score of at least 602 were nominated under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream, provided they worked in occupations under the following National Occupational Classification (NOC 2021)-
– 72 – Technical trades and transportation officers and controllers
-731 – General construction trades
-732 – Building maintenance installers, servicers, and repairers
-734 – Operators, drillers, and blasters
Also, 205 candidates with a minimum score of 665 were selected through a general draw in Manitoba for the Skilled Workers category.
The remaining two draws saw 59 nominations for candidates in the International Education stream and 21 for candidates in the Skilled Workers Overseas category with scores of 718.
On June 15, PEI conducted its second draw of the month. They selected 118 candidates from the PEI PNP Labour and Express Entry stream and 4 candidates from the Business Work Permit Entrepreneur category.
These candidates met the minimum point threshold of 82 and were issued Expressions of Interest.
On June 20, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) conducted three new draws and invited 1,000 individuals to apply for permanent residency (PR).
The draws are conducted specifically for individuals in various occupations. These draws focus on 54 skilled trades, 42 healthcare-related jobs, and 22 occupations that are in high demand.
